The walk down to Kaikorai Stream
On Friday the 6th of June 2008 15 people walked down to Kaikorai stream behind bowl line on the way we painted fish beside every drain. When we got there we went to a lady from the teachers collage and talked to us about why we were here and what we were doing. Then we went to a lady who talked to us about what we can recycle and what we can’t. Then we went to a guy who got us to plant some plants after we planted the plants. We all got together with John McGlashan and Kaikorai School when we all got there the director did a speech in Maori and talked about the Kaikorai stream. Then we put mulch around the plants we had quiet a good system going. Then we went to do water testing and bug hunting we found a Yabby. Then we went back to school.
